How to Disable Browser Plugins and Extensions

Last Updated: Jul 28, 2016 10:27PM AEST

Some browser plugins/extensions affect certain browser functions that can hinder users from watching videos properly or even downloading guides.

Disabling plugins will allow you to check whether it is the cause of a problem.

To disable plugins, follow these instructions depending on the browser you are using:

1  Google Chrome

2  Safari

3  Internet Explorer

4  Mozilla Firefox

Note: Different browsers use different names for extensions and plugins. To avoid confusion, here are the naming conventions. Google Chrome - plugins. Safari - extensions. Microsoft (Internet Explorer and Edge) and Firefox - add-ons.
